Cross Country 

What an amazing day we had for our House Cross Country! The students looked fantastic in their house colours and I was so impressed with their positive attitude towards the day. Especially pleasing was seeing the students who are not normally inclined to go running, being happy to take part in their group’s event. Some were surprised by how well they ran, while others simply couldn’t believe that they completed the distance. 

It was also awesome to see students out supporting one another. A very big thankyou goes to our incredible team of teachers and support staff who all assisted on the day. Thanks also go to Mr Hardy for his efforts in helping Mrs Baxter all day. Thank you also to our student leaders who assisted with the junior school. They barracked and encouraged many of our younger runners, helping them to feel more comfortable. 

It was wonderful to see so many parents and families supporting their children – glad you could make it! You created such a wonderful atmosphere for the students. I hope everyone had fun and enjoyed the sunshine.
