Lightning Premiership

Wednesday 22nd April 2026

Last Wednesday, our District held a Lightning Premiership (round robin competition) to determine the overall winners of our Senior Summer sports teams. The children were all very nervous but excited when they left on the bus for their sports destination. 

All teams played exceptional sport but unfortunately, we were unable to take out the title for Kanga 8’s cricket, rounders or kickball. All teams experienced wins and losses on the day. Congratulations, in particular, to our cricketers who made it to the grand final against Woodlands PS!

A very big thank you must go out to those parents who were able to make it to watch and barrack for our students. I know the staff and children all really appreciated your support. 

Thank you also to Ms Evans & Ms McNeill for coaching the children in the lead up to the day and to Luke & Kai for assisting at each of the sports, during training. A special shout out to Aila who also attended on the day and looked after one of our kickball teams.
