THE RIPPONLEA PLANTING SEASON HAS STARTED!
The Ripponlea Planting season started again with Foundation, Year one and Two green thumbs stepping out into the fresh air, putting hands in the warm autumn soil to get their Junior gardens prepped ready for a year of productive growth .
The children enjoyed adding a touch of colour with pretty violas and snap dragons now adorning the area.
Broccoli, kale, snap peas, cauliflower, spinach & lettuce seedlings were given wishes & water for their healthy and strong growth.
Not even the presence of a couple of quite large spiders could dampen their determination and enthusiasm.
It is now time to wait patiently and watch what happens in coming weeks.
The focus will turn toward planting the Japanese Gardens very soon.
Please remember this SUNDAY is the school working bee.
It’s a great way to connect with other parents and help not only with garden maintenance but the whole school gets a freshen and spruce up.
Nick & Colin would love to see you at the school and the children enjoy the day wholeheartedly.
If you can help out one morning every couple of weeks to help out in the gardens please do reach out to Perrine in the office. We need the help!!!
