- Weeding
- Fixing watering systems
General tidy-up of outdoor areas
Ā
Whether youāre a keen gardener, handy with tools, or simply happy to lend a hand, we would love to see you there. Children are welcome to attend with supervision ā itās a wonderful way for them to see community action in motion and take pride in their school environment.
š BBQ Provided
To thank our volunteers, a BBQ will be provided for everyone in attendance.

CALLING OUT VOLUNTEERS TO HELP KEEP OUR SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB ON TRACK!
Ā
With every purchase you make with Scholastic Bookclub, the school is given a percentage of the cost and last year with our percentage, Izzy was able to purchase some new and amazing books for our School Library.
Ā
To help keep our Book Club running smoothly we need volunteers.Ā Ā
Ā
We are currently looking for people to help with the admin side, which is drafting reminders of purchase dates for the School Newsletter so parents are aware of closing dates and also keeping in touch with Izzy, who is our Scholastic Book Club contact.Ā This is a completely online role and only takes a couple of hours every term as we have 2 brochures each term.
Ā
We are also looking for some people to help with onsite sorting and distribution when the orders arrive at the office, people will need to be ready to go so orders are sorted and out inĀ a very short timeframe.Ā This role involves checking stock off the list and packaging each Child's parcel and delivery to the classrooms - you will be met by very excited and happy Children!Ā This usually takes a couple of hours twice a term and all packaging is provided.
Ā
If you would like to help us, or have a chat about theĀ roles please contact the Ripponlea School Office - Ripponlea.ps@education.vic.gov.auĀ
Ā
And a reminder, the onsite distribution role volunteers will need to have a current WWWC.
Ā
Thank you for all of your support of our Scholastic Book Club.
