Mathematics Competition

On Tuesday, August 6th, 21 students from Years 3 to 6 participated in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC). Like in any sport, competitions instill drive, resilience, and perseverance while helping students develop their problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box. We are very proud of our students and congratulate them on their efforts.

Inspiration from the Olympics

I'm sure many of you are tuning into the Olympics to see the many tales of triumph, persistence, and grit. It is remarkable to see so many inspiring achievements. Here is a quote from Noah Lyles, who took out the 100m men's final just the other day, and a reminder of what is possible.

Don't forget Book Week Dress Up & Parade Day will be held on Monday 26th August. Students can dress up as their favourite book, character, or author. Next week's newsletter will have details about our STM Bookweek Book Fair.

I hope you have a fabulous week,
