Agriculture

On Monday the 30th of June, nine Stage 6 Agriculture students were lucky enough to travel down to Walcha Dairy for a farm tour. After seeing the facilities and having the farm manager Aaron, talk to them about the operation, students enjoyed spending some time with the poddy calves. 

After lunch, Johnny showed us how to set up the shed for milking and taught everyone how to put the cups on and milk some of the 1,000 cows that come through the rotary dairy twice a day.
