Performing Arts

After much anticipation, the Alice In Wonderland production finally took place on Wednesday. What an amazing experience for all. The smiles on students’ faces said it all. The prep, grade one and grade two students showed off their creative dance moves. The sensational cast members immersed themselves in their characters as they took to the stage, reciting their lines. I couldn’t be prouder of their efforts.

A big thank you to all the support along the way to put together this awesome show. BCPS staff for helping with working bees, setting up and rehearsals. Sharron Roach from Dance Project for lending costumes and props. Leya Mackus from Kambrya College for lending costumes and props. A talented parent who painted the backdrops. Finally, to the cast, backstage crew and music crew who gave up endless break times to meet and run lines you shone and made me proud.

I look forward to seeing what next year may bring in terms of a production.
