Grade 3

What's been happening

What an exciting week we’ve had in Grade Three! One of our absolute highlights was joining forces with our Grade Two buddies for a STEM-tastic challenge: Build a Tent! Using materials like paper, sticks, leaves, string, and tape, the classroom was transformed into a mini construction site full of laughter, teamwork, and very creative engineering. Students worked in their groups to plan, problem-solve, and build tents that were strong, clever, and sometimes even stylish! We saw leafy walls, stick support beams, paper floors, and even little doorways and fire pits (pretend ones, of course!).

It was so much fun watching everyone collaborate, test ideas, and get a little messy along the way. Some tents stood tall and proud, while others had a few wobbles—but every single group showed amazing perseverance and teamwork.

Congratulations to Sienna E, Luna, Mahlia, and Marley for representing the Grade 3s in the school production of Alice in Wonderland! Your hard work, confidence, and creativity on stage made us all so proud. You shone brightly and truly brought the magic of the story to life – well done! 🌟🎭
