POLDING WINTER TRIALS
Last Friday, Airlee, Lucy, and Josie (Girls' Hockey), along with Phoebe (Girls' Football), proudly represented St Patrick’s Primary and Armidale Catholic Schools at the Polding Winter Trials in Bathurst.
The girls showcased their skills against talented athletes from across the northern NSW dioceses. They competed in numerous matches against five other regions, all vying for a chance to represent Polding at the upcoming NSWPSSA Hockey and Football Carnivals.
Although Airlee, Lucy, and Phoebe played exceptionally well throughout the day, they narrowly missed out on selection during the Possibles vs. Probables stage. Reaching this elite level of competition is a significant achievement, and the girls should be incredibly proud of their efforts.
We are also thrilled to announce that Josie has been selected to represent Polding at the NSWPSSA Hockey Carnival in Bathurst, commencing Monday, 18th May! We extend our warmest congratulations to Josie and wish her the utmost success as she prepares to compete against the top junior female hockey players from across New South Wales.
Diocesan Cross Country Trials
Thank you so much to all the families who have already nominated their children to compete! We are thrilled to congratulate the 26 students who have been officially selected to represent St Patrick's at the Diocesan Cross Country Trials in Barraba on Friday, May 22nd. Mr Hyatt will be attending the trials as our team manager. The diocesan sports shirts will be handed out on Monday 18th May.
Missing Diocese School Sporting Shirts
A quick reminder that we are missing a number of our St Patrick's Diocesan sports shirts. If your child has accidentally held onto one from a previous sporting event, please return it to the school as soon as you can. It is important that we have our full set back and ready to be distributed ahead of the upcoming ACS Cross Country Trials in the very near future. Thank you for your cooperation.

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook
St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook and it has been updated after the school swimming carnival held recently. This book is designed to give all members associated with our school a clearer understanding of when our school conducts our various sporting carnivals, the processes/qualifying times involved for students who want to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events as well as an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child may want to undertake in their respective sports.
