Prospective Family Information Evening

An evening event for prospective parents, current Trinity families and Alumni. Leonie Jongenelis (Residential Dean) and Nerel Ezra (Recruitment and Admissions Manager) will share a brief overview of life at the University of Melbourne and Trinity College, how we support students’ transition to university, and key application details, followed by time to connect informally with local Alumni and parents.

April Careers Update

In this April edition of your Careers Update, you’ll find upcoming events, programs and opportunities to share with your students and school community. In case you missed it, last week registrations opened for our annual Careers Practitioner Seminar on Thursday, 4 June. It’s a great opportunity to reconnect, share ideas and hear the latest from the University, and there are in-person and online attendance options available.

 


New Ventures Worldwide

Spain School Language Volunteer Programme 

A free online info session for school leavers thinking about a structured gap year volunteering in Spain. This is not just any gap year. Our Spain School Language Volunteer programme places school leavers in real Spanish schools, building skills, confidence and experiences that genuinely stand out on a CV and in a university application.

 

On the night your students will hear from David, a volunteer from Australia who is out in Spain right now, and Josh Goldblatt, our Spain Programme Manager, who has spent years helping volunteers thrive in Spanish schools. Short presentation, open Q&A, totally free.

Direct Entry Applications Closing Soon!

Applications for our Australian National University (ANU) Direct Entry program close on Friday, 8 May 2026. This free application allows students to list up to five program preferences, with the potential to receive outcomes for admission, scholarships, and accommodation as early as September—providing added confidence and clarity ahead of final exams. We also note that applications for the prestigious Tuckwell Scholarship closed on 10 April 2026.

Update April 2026

With Term 2 now underway, we’re looking forward to connecting with schools across Western Australia as we head out to a range of upcoming career expos. As May and June approach, now is an important time for Year 12 students considering the UWA Fogarty Foundation Scholarship or UWA Winthrop Scholarship to ensure their applications are submitted before the closing dates.

Educators and Influencers Day at ECU

Experience the brand-new ECU City Campus firsthand! Connect with the ECU team and hear the latest University updates and key developments. 

 

The day will feature presentations from the Future Student Engagements team, including important information on admissions, courses, and pathways to support your students. 

You’ll hear about The Apple Foundation Program and visit the new dedicated Apple creative space, as well as the Centre for Employability, who will share how they embed employability across curriculum, internships, Work Integrated Learning and career services to ensure students graduate work-ready and competitive. 

 

Attendees will also enjoy a guided tour of the ECU City Campus, showcasing the state-of-the-art facilities and innovative learning spaces. Places are limited, register below.
