A Special Message from Fr Joe

We were delighted to receive a message and some beautiful photos from Fr Joe, who is currently visiting Assisi, Italy. While at the tomb of St Francis, Fr Joe lit a candle and said a special prayer for all the students, their families and the staff of St Brendan’s.

It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture from someone we hold so dear in our school community. Fr Joe sends his blessings to everyone and looks forward to catching up with us all when he returns home.

Term 4 Youth Mass

Last Saturday night, our parish community came together for a joyful Youth Mass celebrated with Fr Ronald.  From the very beginning, Fr Ronald set a warm and welcoming tone by inviting everyone to turn to the person beside them and say, “Jesus loves you.” The church was instantly filled with smiles and a wonderful sense of connection.

Throughout the Mass, our students led with confidence and faith being involved in: readings, prayers, offertory and altar serving. What an amazing opportunity for our students to get involved in our parish.

Thank you to everyone who contributed the Youth Mass.

Christmas Eve Mass for Children and Families

Wednesday, 25th December from 5.30pm–7.00pm

All families are warmly invited to join us for our Christmas Eve Parish Mass. Children are especially encouraged to dress up and take part in the re-enactment of the Nativity. There will be opportunities for students to participate through the choir, prayers, altar serving, readings, and the offertory.

More information will be sent to families soon regarding students nominating their preferred roles for the Nativity re-enactment and Mass.

Let’s come together as a parish community to celebrate the joy and wonder of Christ’s birth.
