Week 4 updates and achievements!
Mooroopna All Abilities Football Netball Carnival
On Wednesday 8th October 2025, some of our senior year students competed in the Mooroopna All Abilities Football & Netball Carnival which was held at the Shepparton Sporting Precinct this year. Both the Netballers and Footballers competed in matches against Cobram and Wangaratta Special Schools throughout the day. Nicolarchi won the Sportsmanship Award for the Football team, while Indi won the Sportsmanship Award for the Netballers. Well done to all of the students who represented our school.
School Sport Victoria – Athletics Carnival
On Thursday 9th of October, Brax from our Upper Middle Years competed at the Hume Region Athletics Carnival in Wodonga. He competed in the 100m, 200m, Long Jump and Shot Put events. Brax was successful in qualifying for the Shot Put at the State Championships that were held at Albert Park on Monday 20th October. Well done to Brax who finished in 4th place for his age group. Terrific effort Brax!
Jazmyn Ponting - Victorian Women’s All Abilities Netball Team - Marie Little OAM Shield
In late Term 3 between Friday 5th – Sunday 7th September 2025, one of our Senior students Jazmyn, competed in the Victorian Women’s All Abilities Netball Team - Marie Little OAM Shield. After a few days of competition in Brisbane, her team made the Grand Final but unfortunately it wasn’t to be with the end score being NSW 13 – Victoria 9. Well done Jazmyn on your wonderful achievements and representing Victoria!
Brodie Ardley-Fitzgerald competed in the Taekwondo National Championships in Adelaide and competed in three events, one individual and two team events. He took home gold in the individual, gold in one of the team events and silver in the team event where he went up against two teams of black belts.
Kobe Wilson competed at the Echuca Swimming Carnival last Sunday. He was awarded medals in two events - freestyle and backstroke. Great job Kobe!
