We’re in the running for open space funding – cast your vote to help Bayside win!

Between 20 June and 3 August, the Department of Transport and Planning are running the Pick my Park consultation where participants can vote on their 3 favourite park projects across Melbourne to receive funding.

Pick My Park is a $30 million program that is improving access to quality parks and open spaces for growing communities. Projects are regional based and the 2 short-listed Bayside projects are in the Inner region:

  1. Tulip Street bike track and jumps upgrade (requested funding support: $250,000). The revitalised Tulip Street Park will become an inclusive bike trail and jump park supporting active lifestyles, youth engagement, and community connection.
  2. Spring Road dog park (requested funding support: $100,000). The upgrade will enhance the site with new secure fencing, accessible paths, drinking fountains, bins, seating and dog play areas.

Visit the Pick my Park website for more information and vote. Projects with the highest number of votes are the winners! Please note, only Victorian residents aged 16 or over are eligible to vote.
