From the Principal

St Justin’s Primary School acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia's First People and Traditional Custodians of the land and waterways on which our school stands.
We pay our respects to the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation, and their elders past and present, and emerging as we continue to proudly live and learn on their land.
St Justin's Primary School - Celebrating over 40 years of Catholic Education
Dear Families and Friends,
First Eucharist
This Saturday and Sunday, students from Year 4 will celebrate their First Eucharist at one of our Parish Masses: Saturday 20th June at our 6.30pm Mass, or Sunday 21st June at our 10.00am Mass, or Sunday 21st June at our 5.00pm Mass. We wish them all the very best for this special celebration.
In preparation for their First Eucharist, students received the Sacrament of Reconciliation today with Father Andrew and Father Jean-Sebastien.

Socceroos - Green & Gold Casual Clothes Day
To celebrate and show our support for the Socceroos as they take on Paraguay in the FIFA World Cup, students are invited to come to school dressed in green and gold on Friday 26th June.
Students are encouraged to wear green and gold clothing and accessories to help create a fun and supportive atmosphere as we cheer on Australia.
Please note: This is not a soccer uniform day or an opportunity to represent any soccer team - we are looking forward to seeing a sea of green and gold around the school as we get behind the Socceroos. Go Australia!
Thanks everyone, and go the Socceroos!
Use of Photographs
Please remember that any photos representing the school community ie: students, staff, school logo, etc. should not be published online unless explicit permission has been granted. Thank you for your cooperation.

Collecting Students during the School Day
We have had many enquiries as to how to arrange collection of students during the course of the day for appointments. Our preference is that appointments are made outside of school hours as every hour out of school is less learning time. We understand that there are some times where this is not always possible. Please ensure that you notify your child’s classroom teacher via nForma or via email to advise them the following:
- Pick up Time (Outside of Recess (11:20am- 12:00pm) & Lunchtime (1:50pm – 2:30pm) as it is a challenge to get the students off the playground!
- Advise whether your child will be returning after their appointment or if they will need to take their school bag home with them.
Once you have arrived at school to collect your child/children, it is a legal requirement that you sign them out via the iPad at the office. You do this by choosing “Sign Out” and then “Student”.
Please then wait for your child/children who can ONLY be collected from the Administration (Office) area.
Fair on the Hill
Our Fair on the Hill will be held on Saturday 7th November 2026 (the weekend after the Melbourne Cup - lock it in).
Things are certainly on track and looking good. We are now calling on:
- anyone who might be interested in partnering with us through a sponsorship package. Generous opportunities are provided including Diamond ($2000), Platinum ($1000) and Gold ($500). We also welcome any other donations of goods or cash.
- volunteers - this will be an ongoing request, but particularly someone to coordinate food stalls, the bar (RSA required)
- Volunteers coordinator
- Books and Toys Stall Coordinator
In coming weeks, we'll be calling for seedlings and/or propragated plants for our plant stall - timing will be everything to enusre the plants are the right size for our Fair in November. We have room in our hothouse if needed.
For all expressions of interest, please contact Mr Torpey / Fr Andrew
A reminder that next week we will be conducting a Bake Sale with all funds helping offset the cost of the rides - thanks for everyone's support..
As always, thank you for your ongoing support.
All the best for the long weekend - stay safe.
