What a fantastic and busy start to the term we've had in the Djidi Djidi Room!

Our focus this term has been on our group inquiry projects, which has continued enthusiastically into Term 3. We currently have three exciting projects underway: Construction Project, Dramatic Play Project, and our Discovery Detectives Project.

Our Discovery Detectives have been busy exploring, investigating, and creating. They made us a very impressive volcano and this week they proudly made their own playdough, learning about measuring, mixing, and following instructions. To extend their learning beyond the classroom, they have also been set a special Playdough Homework Challenge, and we can't wait to hear about their creations at home!

Our talented construction team recently completed their impressive LEGO World, showcasing fantastic teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. With one challenge complete, they have now moved on to a new adventure, participating in a "Make It at Home" Construction Challenge, where they are putting their building skills to work outside of the classroom.

The Dramatic Play group has transformed our learning environment with some truly incredible play spaces. Inspired by our Talk 4 Writing text, "Dear Zoo," the children created a busy and engaging Zoo Vet Clinic, complete with many of our classroom animals. They have also designed an exciting Jungle Adventure Area, encouraging imaginative play, storytelling, collaboration, and creativity.

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and imagination the children have displayed throughout these projects.
