Waste Free Wednesdays

Dear Families,

Every Wednesday, we recognise our Waste-Free Superheroes by recording the students who bring waste-free recess and lunches. At the end of each term, the class that has been the most waste-free will proudly take home the coveted Gold Waste-Free Trophy!

Being sustainable means reducing waste, recycling where possible, and caring for our environment. There are many simple ways we can all make a difference:

• Pack lunches in reusable containers instead of disposable packaging.
• Sort rubbish into the correct bins.
• Reuse items whenever possible.
• Compost fruit and vegetable scraps if you have a garden.

• Save eligible drink containers with the 10¢ refund symbol to recycle and earn money back.
