Art Room Requests

The art room is a great place to recycle. This term we are looking for:

large boxes (a few refrigerator/dishwasher sized boxes)
fabric scraps (about A4 size- needed for puppet clothing, and cushion/banner backing). Fabric should be cotton if possible.
Newspapers (for papier mache)
Pillow stuffing (get rid of any old pillows…just pull out the stuffing)
Egg cartons
Cylinders of any shapes/sizes
One wide/big cylinder for a 3D lighthouse- tall
Ribbon/buttons
Cotton sewing machine thread any colour

Thank you so much for your donations. Please bring items to the art room for drop off, and if I am not there just leave items on a table or the floor space.

Student Attendance

A reminder if your child/children are having a partial day off school, (late arrival or early departure), please don't enter it onto Compass via your Parent Portal.

Instead you only need to do it when you drop them off or pick them up from school, here at the office.

If a partial day absence is entered via your Compass Parent Portal and then again when you come to the office, via our sign in/sign out Kiosk, it will double up and create an unexplained absence on your child's attendance records.

All partial day absences need to be logged via our school office Kiosk system.

Only full day/days absences can be done successfully via your Compass Parent Portal.

Any questions or concerns, please come and see our admin staff.

Secondhand Uniform Shop

We are in need of polo tops and jumpers, if you have any in good, clean condition, please drop them at the school office.

Items for sale are $5 each, cash only.

You can come anytime during school hours to purchase.

School Hours

Classes Start at 8:45am and Classes Finish at 3:15pm

Recess 10:45-11:20am and Lunch 1:15-2:15pm

Please ensure your child/children are at school prior to 8:45am. Students should not arrive before 8.30am and need to be collected by 3.30pm as this is when the school is supervised.

All students who arrive late must sign in at the office and take a late pass to the teacher.

Students leaving early must be signed out by a parent at the office.

If your child is leaving school early could you please email the class teacher, giving a time that you would like your child to be at the office ready for pick up. Unfortunately we are unable to call students over the intercom, unless it is recess, lunchtime or from 3pm.

Labelling Personal Items

Please check that your child’s school uniform & all lunch containers have their names clearly marked on them. We often have a lot of unnamed items in our lost property basket that could easily be returned to their rightful owners if they were named!

Our lost property basket is located at the front of our office if you need to take a look.

Al orders are delivered to our office free of charge and will be given to the students at the end of the day or parents can collect them.
