Students have been getting up close with all sorts of tiny creatures during our outdoor investigations, observing how they move, eat and protect themselves. We’ve also been learning about adaptations and camouflage, and how these help mini beasts survive in their habitats. To deepen our understanding of life cycles, students created models using playdough to show the changes these creatures go through as they grow. It has been wonderful to see curiosity, care and wonder in every lesson!
