Rugby Tag

On Tuesday 29th October, we sent both a boys' and a girls' Rugby Tag team to the Robbie Kearns Cup at Hines Reserve in Wyndham. While a few of our students play rugby outside of school, most are new to the sport. Coaches David and Ash were pleased with the progress of both teams, especially how the more experienced players guided and supported those new to the game.

The teams looked fantastic in their kits and approached the tournament with optimism. Although both the boys' and girls' teams started with a loss, they remained determined and took on their next matches with a positive attitude. By the end of the day, the girls had secured one win and two losses, while the boys finished with two wins and one loss.

Incredibly, in our foundation year at Yarrabing, we’ve been fortunate enough to be invited to the Robbie Kearns Cup State Finals on 27th November. 

We wish David and the boys the best of luck as they prepare for this exciting new challenge. Their hard work and dedication during training have them ready for the next step!
