You're Invited - Sistine Chapel Exhibition
It’s not too late to sign up for the amazing Sistine Chapel Exhibition!
Family Educators in the Sutherland Shire (that’s me!) are organising an excursion to the Sistine Chapel Revelations Exhibition at St Mary’s Cathedral Forecourt for parents and carers of our school communities for Friday 26th June at 10.20am. If you missed the Compass invitation please call in at the school office for a hard copy.
About the exhibition
The Revelations Exhibition showcases life‑size, high‑resolution reproductions of Michelangelo’s frescoes from the Sistine Chapel. Visitors can stand face‑to‑face with iconic scenes such as The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgment, gaining a rare opportunity to appreciate the detail, colour, and symbolism of these works in a way not possible inside the actual chapel. The exhibition also includes guided audio, historical insights, and reflections on Michelangelo’s artistic and spiritual vision.

Adult Tickets: $55 each (must be purchased via the official website (link below)
Booking: You must purchase your own tickets as a matter of urgency as spaces are limited and we are unable to make a group booking.

Please complete the Google Form Link once you have purchased your ticket, so Family Educators know where you would prefer to meet - either at a local train station or on the cathedral steps.
Pope Francis Award Program - Year 6 Students
Here are some more groups of students signed up for the Pope Francis Award Program at the OLF Preschool and Long Daycare. This is a very popular activity and it is a win/win for everyone! The students assist with light cleaning, tidying and organising activities for the children.There are two more sessions for this term.
It has been very rewarding seeing the students perform acts of service.
Friday Fatima Friends
Last week Fatima Friends visited the Music Room and had musical fun with percussion instruments. This week we will have free play in the Library.
Upcoming Session
Next Friday we will be joining in the fun at the Year K-2 Fun and Fitness Day. We will join in the rotations with Kindergarten on the playground.

All pre-schoolers, babies and toddlers are welcome to come with parents and carers.
This will be the last session for the term. Fatima Friends will resume for Term 3 on Friday 31st July.
Vinnies Winter Appeal 2026
It’s that time of year again when we are asked to help people in our community less fortunate than ourselves.
Families are asked to donate goods that are much needed:
- toothpaste
- toothbrushes
- shampoo
- conditioner
- deodorant
- tea
- coffee
- soap
- tissue boxes, just to name a few
Each grade has a specific item to donate so please check your child’s grade requirement on Mrs Wing’s Compass/Religious Education page.
