Indonesian 

This term in Indonesian, we are lucky to welcome Felicia as an Indonesian language assistant. Felicia is from Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, on the island of Java. She is currently completing her tertiary studies at Melbourne University and will head back to Indonesia at the end of this year.

Felicia has been here on Mondays and Tuesdays teaching our Foundation, and Grade 3/4 students about her country, language and culture. We have learnt about native Indonesian animals, and about bargaining at Indonesian food markets. 

Felicia will have one more week with us in December. We are grateful to the Australian Federal Government, Tetra Tech International Development and the Australia Awards for funding this ILLA initiative.
