Principal's Update

Dear Families,

Two weeks ago today, the Parish centre was rocking with the sound of the disco. It was an incredible night. The number of children who attended was amazing. Thank you so much to all our families for their organisation and donations that made our night such a success. 

A reminder that a letter was sent home stating that Wednesday, December 17, is now our last day for students, not Thursday, December 18, as previously advised. As stated in the letter, we have a lot of work to do to prepare and clean out the school for the build. I never call a closure day without a lot of consideration, especially as I know how many working families we have. Thank you for your support.

Regarding the build, we are very close to announcing our builder and providing more information on our timeline. The process of drawing up plans and obtaining permits, etc., is a journey in itself. So please be reassured, it has been an ongoing priority, and a lot of work is happening behind the scenes.

I am really pleased to announce that for the 2026 school year, we are fully staffed. Many schools are struggling to fill positions, but we are in a very fortunate position to have staff with such a strong commitment and love of our school and our children that they want to stay.

Junior Teachers: Claire Burke, Georgia Consedine, Heather Bush and Anne Newton.
