DIVISIONAL CROSS COUNTRY

On Wednesday 14 students represented the school at the Northern Peninsula Division Cross Country at Hastings Foreshore. Unfortunately, the flu has been circulating around the school community which impacted on some of the students. However, they all performed to the best of their ability under the circumstances.

10 Years Girls

  • Mia F – 3rd
  • Emma K – was unable to run to her full potential, but still pushed through to finish 29th.
  • Charli P – 23rd

10 Years Boys

  • Sam P – Unfortunately, Sam was struck down with the flu and was unable to attend the Divisional competition.
  • Lennox H - 6th

11 Years Girls

  • Chelsea L – 6th
  • Indy S – 11th, missing out by one place to qualify for Regionals.
  • Emily S – 19th

11 Years Boys

  • Emerson M – 4th
  • Lennon K – 21

12/13 Years Girls

  • Skye A – Skye was also recovering from illness so was unable to perform to her full potential, but still did well to place 22nd.

12/13 Years Boys

  • Lennox T – 4th
  • Arlo D – Although Arlo started the race, for the safety of his health, Mrs Burt told him to pull out after 1 kilometre. Very disappointing for Arlo, but a sensible decision.
  • Ollie Watson –  Ollie was also recovering from illness  so unable to perform to his best, but still placed a creditable 25th.

And finally, good luck to Mia, Lennox, Chelsea, Emmerson and Lennox who will be competing at the Regional competition on the 18th June.
