Winter Appeal 2025 

This year, St Francis Xavier will be participating in the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal. The St Vincent de Paul Society is a Catholic organisation that aspires to live the Gospel message by serving Christ. The yearly winter appeal helps the homeless with winter essentials to assist during this cold time of year.

The St Francis Xavier community is asking each house colour to provide a specific item of clothing to donate to the Winter appeal. All items need to be new and are requested to be brought to school by Friday 8th August. Your child is to hand these items into the office for collection. 

The SRC, Serviam and Pope Francis Award students will sort and collect each of the items and hand them to a member of the St Vincent de Paul Society in Week 4. 

Each house colour is asked to bring the following items. 

McMahon (Gold) - Gloves  

Purcell (Blue)- Scarves

Ursula (Green) - Beanies

Merici (Red) - Warm socks
