Embracing New Experiences Together

As we begin this new term together, I’m filled with a sense of anticipation and enthusiasm for the opportunities that lie ahead.

Whether you are a new student finding your way, a staff member – new or returning - ready to inspire, or a parent supporting from the sidelines, we are all part of a vibrant and evolving story. This term, we’re looking forward to discovering new experiences together – a time to explore fresh ideas, build connections, and grow as a community.

Some of our Year 5-6 students will be discovering a new experience by attending an event at Government House next month, hosted by Cricket Australia and Cricket Victoria. We are one of four schools in the state to receive this invitation and look forward to developing our relationship with these cricketing bodies.

From innovative classroom projects and cross-year collaborations to leadership opportunities and new initiatives, we are creating spaces where every voice is heard and every contribution matters. These shared experiences not only enrich our learning but also strengthen the bonds that make our college a truly special place. An example of these shared experiences is the College musical, which showcased the many talents and hard work of our students and staff.

Let us continue to support one another, take bold steps into the unknown, and find joy in the journey. I encourage each of you to try something new this term—join a club, start a conversation, or simply be open to a different perspective. Together, we are building a future full of promise and possibility.

Celebrating Outstanding Achievements

We are incredibly proud to recognise two of our Year 12 students for their exceptional accomplishments.

Congratulations to Gracy Singh, who was awarded the Senior Winner of the 2025 WynSpeak Competition—a testament to her dedication and eloquence.

We also celebrate Maruelle Tongzon, who had the honour of representing Australia as part of a Melbourne-based team in the Donosti Cup held in San Sebastián, Spain in July.

"I had the incredible opportunity to represent Australia as part of a Melbourne-based team in the Donosti Cup in San Sebastián, Spain. Competing internationally against top teams from around the world was an unforgettable experience that helped me grow both on and off the pitch."

- Maruelle

Well done, Gracy and Maruelle, on these outstanding achievements!
