Mathematics in Foundation

The Foundation students have been very busy learning in our Maths lessons. Last week we were learning to represent the numbers 0-10 on a ten-frame. To consolidate our understandings we played the 'Ten-frame game' with a Maths buddy.

'Ten-frame game' 

What you need:

Tens frames

Dice

Rules:

Roll the dice and place that number of counters in the ten-frame. 

Continue rolling and adding counters until the frame is full. 

The final roll must be the exact number needed to complete the ten-frame.
