School Council Report

July School Council Meeting

A highlight of the meeting was Paul sharing the recently received NAPLAN results. School Council congratulated students and teachers on a very positive result, which is a testament to the work occurring in classrooms every day. 

Reflections from across the school community on the Colour Fun Run were that this was a highly successful event, enjoyed by students, parents and teachers. School council thanked the organisers, participants and fundraisers.

Policies that were updated and endorsed included; 

• Community Events Policy
• Camps and Excursions Policy
• Health Care Needs Policy
• Homework Policy 

School council discussed an ongoing concern regarding illegal parking on Langdridge Street at drop off and pick up times. It is hoped that contact with the local Council can support the school to reduce this safety issue. 

And lastly, with ART FOR ALL only a few weeks away, the Social Committee updated that most tasks are on track. The event's success is all thanks to parent power so please consider sharing yours to help make this a fantastic and smooth event by volunteering for a few hours (sign up via the newsletter).
