2018 - Annual Music Gala

This week’s photos feature the 2018 Annual Music Gala, an event that brings music teachers and students together each year to share the fruits of their talent, dedication and hard work with the College community. It’s an important event on the College calendar. Over the years, many students have gone onto careers in music built on the foundation of their time at Mazenod.

Since its inception, music has played an important role at the College. It began with just a choir, as there was no money to employ music teachers, but everyone could sing. This required only a few sheets of music, which were paid for by the parents. Today, Mazenod has a reputation for its highly acclaimed music program which will be on display this week with the 2026 Annual Music Gala.
