As we begin Term 4, there is a tangible sense of excitement across the campus. The final term of the year is always a busy one, filled with special events, celebrations and opportunities to connect as a school community. Amidst the many activities on the calendar, our commitment remains firmly focused on providing high-quality learning experiences for every student. We are intentionally ensuring that strong teaching and engaged learning continues in our classrooms through to the final day of the school year.

This term has already seen several significant milestones. We are delighted to have commenced the process of appointing our Student Leaders for the coming year. Over the next few weeks, students will participate in the application and election process, providing valuable opportunities to develop leadership skills, public speaking confidence and a heart for serving others. Please pray for wisdom over these appointments.

Another exciting development has been the commencement of our Pre-Kinder program. It has been wonderful to welcome our youngest learners and their families into our school community. The enthusiasm, curiosity and joy that these children bring enriches our campus, and we are thankful for the opportunity to partner with families as they begin their educational journey at Leighland Christian School.

The coming weeks are particularly full, with a wide range of events planned across the school. These occasions provide valuable opportunities to share in the life of the school, celebrate student achievements and strengthen the partnerships that are so important to the success of our children. Individual details will come out as each event falls in the calendar.

I also want to congratulate Patrick Fabian on his appointment to the Campus Principal role at Ulverstone and Katrina McNab to her role as Director of Teaching, Learning and Curriculum across both campuses.

As always, we encourage families to keep an eye on school communication platforms and the calendar on PAM to stay informed about upcoming events.

We are grateful for your ongoing support and partnership and look forward to sharing a wonderful term together.

May God bless your family throughout the weeks ahead and may Term 4 finish the 2026 school year as one that has been a season of growth, learning, service and celebration for all.

Warm regards,
