Give Your Unused Bike a Second Life with Back2Bikes!

Got a bike in your garage gathering dust? Back2Bikes can turn it into vital transportation for someone in need. For newly arrived refugees and families escaping domestic violence, a reliable bicycle offers true independence—opening doors to school, language classes, job interviews, and community hubs.

We will be holiday a donation day at SKiPPS on Friday 9th October to allow families to easily donate any bikes that they no longer need.

Bikes Urgently Needed;

  • Children’s Bikes: High demand for all sizes, from balance bikes up to 24” models.
  • Small Adult Bikes: Especially step-through frames.
  • Road & Mountain Bikes: Quality road bikes are refurbished and sold by our volunteers—a single road bike sale can fund repairs for 5 to 10 children's bikes!

Please ensure all donated bikes are in good, rideable condition.

How to Donate

  1. Email ahead: Let us know how many bikes you are bringing by emailing geoff@back2bikes.org.au.

  2. Drop off: Bring your bikes to the school on Friday 9th October between 8:30am and 9:15am.

Please note: As a volunteer-run group, we do not have the resources to pick up bikes from individual homes.
