Eclipse House News

There’s been plenty to celebrate over the past few weeks in Eclipse House! Nicholas Hams, Billy Hams, Tristan Harris, Jai Waterman, and Leo Cunningham claimed a fantastic win in their football grand final against Denmark. The house was absolutely buzzing that weekend. 

Lucas Smart also had a successful stint in the Colts division premiership, with a strong win over the Sharks. Some great highlights for the house and especially for these boys over the past few weeks. 

The excitement continued the following weekend, with Billy Hams, Leo Cunningham, Tristan Harris, Denver Jenkins, and Nicholas Hams also securing victory in their hockey grand final, another brilliant achievement and a very proud moment for Eclipse. 

In the recent leadership process, Zane Cairns and Matilda (Tilly) Norrish were awarded Boarding Captain positions. A massive congratulations to Zane, who will take on a meaningful role within Eclipse and the wider boarding community, mentoring and supporting fellow students. Lucas Smart was also named Sports Captain, a fitting recognition of his success both on and off the football field, as well as his consistent performance in athletics over the years for Baudin House. 

There were also some fantastic performances at the recent Radioactive and Kingfisher concerts, featuring Harry Smart, Henry Smith, and Riley Jenkins. Another brilliant night and a great representation from Eclipse House. 

It’s lovely to see the weather clearing up more consistently, allowing for some much-anticipated water-based activities, always a highlight for the boarders! Wishing everyone a safe and happy third-term break.
