Regional Athletics

Congratulations to the 18 students that completed at Regional Aths in Bendigo on Monday. We say it every time but we are always proud of how well our students display our school values in and out of the school and this was just another example!

A special mention to Ava for coming 3rd in the 800m and Indi who was 1st in high jump. Indi will compete at the state competition in Melbourne.

School Athletics

What a fantastic way to wrap up the first week of Term 4!

It was wonderful to see students reconnecting with their peers and staff, enjoying the day and getting involved in some friendly competition.

As always, we were incredibly proud to see our students demonstrating our school values throughout the day. A huge well done to everyone who participated, gave their best and earned valuable points for their house! The competition was so close that Mr Ras reckons it was the closest he’s ever seen! The eventual winners were Saturn!

A special shout-out to our older students who went above and beyond, not only participating in events but also stepping up to support and encourage our younger students. Your leadership and willingness to lend a hand truly embody our school values.

Student vs Teacher Relay......

Congratulations to the Gemini boys’ relay team, who finally claimed victory in the much-anticipated race! (For the record, the teachers did start 20 metres behind them! )

A big thank you to all the families who came along to watch, cheer on our students and be part of the fun. Your support helps make these events even more special and contributes to our wonderful school community. Also Rochester Little Athletics for supporting this event.

Finally, a huge thank you to Mr Rasmussen for all the time and effort he puts into making these days possible, and to all the staff who pitch in to help make the event such a success.

What a brilliant day of teamwork, house spirit and school community!
