NAPLAN Results

NAPLAN results from Years 5, 7 and 9 have been released and continue to be analysed by the College. The results reveal that the majority of students at the College sit within the Exceeding and Strong range for each domain. The College continues to support reading through the English curriculum as well as the Accelerated Reader program introduced in 2026. We are also in the process of refining the college’s writing framework to provide further literacy support for all students.

As always, NAPLAN data reflects a point in time and is only one of the metrics used by the College to support our students. A continued focus on reading, writing and numeracy across all year groups is a central focus for teachers and students.

Accelerated Reader and STAR Assessments

Year 5 and 7 students commenced the Accelerated Reader (AR) Program last term.

Your son should be regularly reading and filling out his Reading Log.  Your son's AR target should be achieved by the end of this term.  This is dependent on your son reading texts that fall within his reading range and reading regularly (at least 20 minutes per day).

Please see the attached letter for further information.
