Visual Arts - Snr

Our senior students have been developing their artistic skills through individual inquiry projects. Each student has selected an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artist to research, learning about their artistic style, cultural influences and the stories behind their work.

Using their research as inspiration, students are designing and creating their own original artworks that reflect elements of their chosen artist's techniques while expressing their own ideas and creativity. Throughout the process, students are practising planning, experimentation and reflection as they refine their artistic skills.

We look forward to showcasing these thoughtful and creative pieces as students complete their projects later this term. Their dedication to researching artists respectfully and producing meaningful, inspired artworks has been outstanding.
