Nominations are now officially open for positions on the St Joseph’s School Advisory Council (SAC) to replace retiring members.

The School Advisory Council plays a vital role in supporting the Parish Priest and Principal in the leadership, Catholic identity and strategic direction of our school community. Rather than acting as sectional representatives, SAC members are chosen for their shared wisdom, gifts and the specific capabilities they bring to council discussions.

How Nominations Work

Under our Armidale Catholic Schools SAC Constitution, nominations may occur in any of the following ways:

Self-Nomination: We warmly encourage community members to put forward their own names to broaden the range of gifts and talents on Council.

Nomination by Another Community Member: You may nominate a fellow parent, carer or parishioner (please ensure you have obtained their permission prior to submitting).

Direct Invitation: The SAC and school leadership may also directly invite community members who possess particular skills or expertise needed by the Council.

How to Nominate

Nomination Form: Please complete this SAC Nomination Form. 

Conflict of Interest Statement: Nominees will be asked to complete a brief Conflict of Interest Disclosure as part of the discernment process.

Submission Deadline: All completed nomination forms must be submitted to the School Principal by Monday, 2 November, 2026.
