Transition from Primary to Secondary School
Webinar - Wednesday, 19 November 2025 | 07:00 PM to 08:30 PM
Transitioning from primary school to secondary school may be a significant change for some students.
Although most students (and parents) will have a sense of optimism, some may feel a sense of anxiety; and it’s a journey of change that can be made positive with preparation, planning and support.
This webinar will be presented by Kate Wilde, Director of The Human Development Workshop and will include:
- The basic information – routines, public transport and homework
- The 'tricky' stuff – friends, bullying and anxiety
- The important information – workload, getting help and working with your child’s personal and learning strengths
- The complex information – managing technology, school refusal, supporting your young person’s mental health and flourishing in school.
