NCD Clay Target Shoot

On Wednesday 29th October, a group of our students participated in the NCD Clay Target Shoot competition. They represented the school brilliantly, demonstrating excellent behaviour, focus, and adherence to all safety guidelines throughout the day. Our shooters performed strongly, with Sam O. scoring 19/30, Tully B. 17/30, and Josie L. 7/30. Special congratulations to Josie who came 1st in the Senior Girls division, Sam 2nd, and Tully 4th in the Senior Boys division – a fantastic achievement for all. Thanks, to Abby Mulquiny for accompanying and supporting the students on the day.

Superannuation. What is it?

Gallery Image

Superannuation (also known as 'super') is money that employers are legally required to put aside on behalf of their employees. When you reach retirement age, you're allowed to access the money paid into any superannuation account in your name. It may seem a long way away now, but when you retire your superannuation can be an important way of supplementing your age pension. Nearly everyone with a job is required to join a government-approved superannuation fund. If you're under 18, you need to work more than 30 hours in a week to be eligible.
