Grade 2C and 2D’s Space Selfie Adventure!
Last month, our Grade 2C and 2D students took part in an out-of-this-world experience! We snapped a class photo and sent it into space as part of Mark Rober’s Space Selfie Project. The project allows students from around the world to have their images displayed on a satellite orbiting Earth, and when it passes their home town (in our case Williamstown), the satellite takes a selfie and then beams it back down to Earth! The students were amazed to see how science, technology, and creativity can come together to make something truly stellar!
