Attendance

Reminder for Families – Extended Absence Notification
If you are planning a family holiday, or any extended absence of five (5) or more school days, please remember to notify your child’s classroom teacher in advance. This allows us to prepare an Absence Learning Plan in accordance with Williamstown North Primary School’s Attendance Policy, ensuring your child can continue their learning while away.
We appreciate your support in helping us maintain strong attendance and learning continuity for all students.
Thank You for Logging Student Absences
A big thank you to all the families who consistently log daily student absences on Compass - your support helps us keep our attendance records accurate and up to date.
If you ever need guidance on how to record an absence, please feel free to come and see Matt Feeley or Jonathon Skipworth - we’re always happy to help.
And just a reminder: if you log an absence on Compass, there’s no need to call the school to explain it as well (you can always add information into the details/comments section of the attendance note if needed).
Thank you for your ongoing support in keeping our processes running smoothly.
🎉 Attendance Trophy Update! 🎉
A big congratulations to Prep B, with an impressive 94% attendance for the fortnight, and to 3B, leading the way with an outstanding 96%! 🏆
If you’d like to see how your child’s class is tracking, the full attendance leader board is displayed just outside the Butterfly Room.
Let’s keep up the great effort, because every day counts!
Thank you,
Jonathon Skipworth and Matt Feeley
