Bloom Where You are Planted

This year we welcome 70 new students to the Secondary Years, bringing our sub-school total to over 780 students. The SY has grown and matured over the last couple of years. In 2025 we will support our largest Year 12 cohort in the College's history, with 112 students.

Secondary Years can be challenging academically, socially and personally. However, all challenges bring growth. Sometimes we want to run away from the challenges we face - go back to what is easy, maybe even dormant. But a seed can only grow and bloom if it begins the process of germination, a process that involves swelling and rupture. Only those who embrace challenges and struggles are able to bloom.

"We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”

I look forward to watching our SY students bloom: embracing the challenges and the unfamiliar to stretch and grow into wonderful people as God created them to be.

Student ID Photos

A reminder that Years 1-12 will have their ID photos (Head and Shouldres) will be taken on Wednesday 12 February. Secondary Years students are expected to wear formal uniforms including their tie and blazer during the photography, as outlined below:

Please also take some time to familiarise yourself with the Appearance Guidelines.

If you have sports on this day, you will need to bring a change of clothes for the photos.

As part of our ongoing partnership with Elevate Education in the delivery of our study skills program for Years 10-12, we have access to a series of online webinars for parents.

Year 7 Camp in Week 5

A reminder to all parents that the Year 7 Camp is happening in Week 5, from Wednesday-Friday (26-28 February). To ensure your child is ready for camp, please complete the Signmee invitation sent via email and also fill out the consent and dietary requirement form on the Summit portal with code 89741 as soon as possible.
