Sowing into our Community

It has been wonderful to see students and staff back, full of energy and enthusiasm. This year is especially significant as we embark on a new chapter with students now officially learning on-site at Mambourin Campus! This morning, we were thrilled to begin the year with the entire Good News family gathered at the Commencement Service. Gatherings like this will become a special part of the year when two campuses come together as one College. While we now have two campuses, we remain one College—united in faith and learning.

At the Commencement Service, we celebrated the achievements of the 2024 graduates and awarded the Dux and Proxime Accessit prizes. The Class of 2024 showed great courage and faith as they led by example, inspiring us all. During the service, we also installed new staff and student leaders, including College Captains Gracy Singh and Milan Gurung, and Vice-Captains Prisha Nayak and Aaron Gustav.

This year, we are guided by the theme of ‘Planted in Faith, Growing in Service’. This theme reminds us that with faith as our foundation, we can grow into our best selves and use our talents to help others. It encourages all of us—students and staff—to explore, learn, and reach our full potential. As it says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." 

Just as a seed needs the right environment to flourish, we are committed to making our College a place where everyone feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow.  This year let’s work together to make every lesson, activity and moment count. Let’s dream big, work hard, and make 2025 a year to remember.

Celebrating Success 2024
