Sports Update

Division Swimming 

On Thursday the 5th of March the Swimming Division Competition was held at the Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre.

Nine students qualified from the District Swimming to represent Epping Views PS. All individuals performed honourably in the pool and both our open Girls and Freestyle Girls 11 year olds teams swam well in the relays.

A big thank you to the parents for transporting their children down to the venue. It was great to see families poolside supporting the event.

A massive shout out to Rubi, Tredan, Millie, Audrey, Lara, Aanya and Prabhav who participated and congratulations to Eva from 5EK for making it through to the Regional Swimming event in Backstroke.

School Cross Country

In other sports news, the School Cross Country will be held on Thursday the 26th of March. The students will run 2km and 3km around the school to qualify for the District Cross Country held at Bundoora Park on Wednesday the 13th of May. 

It will involve only the Year 3s to Year 6s and students competing will require hats, water bottles, and decent running shoes.
