Dance Group Rebranding
We are excited to announce that we are rebranding our dance group. This means a new dance, new students and a new name. Starting in Term 2 Week 1, we are starting dance lessons with Shae Duncan from Marumali Yulugi to create a new dance with our students. Our students will have the chance to participate in 9 lessons with Shae every Thursday from 2:10pm - 3:10pm, ready to perform for our school community and families for Naidoc Week in week 10 of term 2.
Aboriginal students from grades 3 - 10 have been asked to express their interests in dancing to the AEA team, with this we have gained over 40 interested students.
We need your help!!
We are looking forward to seeing the end product. We need students to start thinking of a dance group name in Gamilaraay Language.
Have a safe and happy holiday with family and friends. We look forward to seeing you all return in term 2 on April 28th.
Canteen
Recess and Lunch orders can be ordered on the Compass app. Please see the steps below for ordering. If emergency meals need to be dropped to the school, please take note of the students break times and have meals at school on time. This will help your child have a smoother day and not miss crucial learning in the classroom.
Primary Break Times -
Recess: 11am - 11:30am
Lunch: 1pm - 1:30pm
Secondary Break Times -
Recess: 11.10am - 11:40am
Lunch: 1:40pm - 2:10pm
