Year 8 HSIE

Throughout Term 1, Year 8 HSIE has been learning about Water in our World. As a Geography skills 'fieldwork' activity, students experimented with water; specifically how water interacted with different surfaces. Students poured water on different surfaces such as sloped and flat surfaces, concrete, sand and grass. This was a fun way for students to explore the watery interactions and document their fieldwork results.

Year 9 - TAFE Automotive

Some of our Year 9 students have been getting their hands dirty and loving every minute of it at TAFE Automotive! This exciting opportunity has given students the chance to step into a real workshop environment and learn through hands-on activities.

From working on engines to exploring vehicle systems, students are gaining valuable skills and insights into the automotive industry. The sessions have been a hit, with students fully engaged, asking questions, and enjoying the chance to put theory into practice.

It's been fantastic to see their confidence grow as they learn by doing. This experience not only builds technical knowledge but also opens up future pathways in trades and vocational education.
