On the Sporting Field

Mr Luke Bahramis, Head of Sport
Welcome to Kilvington Sport for 2026 – we have a huge program planned for the year ahead. A total of 39 teams will compete weekly in the EISM competition, all aiming to build on last year’s outstanding success and further grow our trophy cabinet.
The season kicked off this Wednesday and Thursday, with our Years 8–12 students lining up for their first matches of the year. Year 7 sport will begin after the March long weekend, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them into the program soon.
Early morning training has already begun at GESAC for our Years 3–6 swim team, with over 30 students attending the first two sessions. It’s shaping up as a very strong squad ahead of the Junior School Balaclava Swimming Carnival on Wednesday 19 February.
Our Senior EISM swim team will be selected by Miss McLaren at the House Swimming Carnival on Monday 17 February, with training commencing the following Monday. The team will train twice a week in the mornings at GESAC.
A new and exciting addition to the EISM calendar this year is the Golf Gala Day. Students in Years 7–12 who hold a GA Handicap are encouraged to get in touch with Mr Bahramis if they are interested in representing Kilvington.
