Year 7 student leaders

After a record number of applications for the coveted role of year 7 student leader, the six successful applicants (from 7A-7F respectively) were:

To the students who applied but were ultimately unsuccessful, it was an incredibly difficult decision to make in selecting just one student per class, however you’re reminded that even though you may not have an official title or badge to show for it, everyone in the cohort can display leadership qualities on a daily basis by standing up for others (& themselves), voicing their thoughts, ideas & opinions in relation to their own & others’ learning in class, etc. You’re also encouraged to apply again next year as year 8 student leaders!

To those students listed above, congratulations on your appointment as year 7 student leaders, which is a testament to the positive leaderships qualities you’ve demonstrated throughout the course of term 1, including collegiality, communication, respect (both for yourselves & others), integrity & empathy.
