Victorian President's Report

Welcome back to the start of the final school term. Term 4 is always one of intensity and purpose as it provides a time when principals and assistant principals are balancing the complexities of planning for the year ahead while ensuring a strong and positive finish to the year.

As we enter this busy period, the focus naturally shifts to the key priorities that shape the close of the year such as finalising staffing, budgets and strategic planning for 2026, while leading end-of-year celebrations and transitions. It’s also a moment to reflect on the extraordinary efforts of school leaders across Victoria, whose commitment and professionalism continue to sustain our system and communities.

The APF remains steadfast in representing your interests, advocating for fair and sustainable workload expectations, and ensuring your voice is heard as we progress towards the next enterprise agreement. As always, we thank you for the exceptional leadership you provide every day, and we look forward to connecting with many of you at our upcoming AGM and Seminar next week.
