Footy Fun Day
What a great way to finish term 3 with a Footy Fun day. It was exciting to see all the students and staff dressed in their footy team colours and footy jumpers and scarfs. The Teacher vs Grade 6 students Footy Match was very entertaining to watch and how competitive not only the students but also the adults who participated in the match. A BIG THANK YOU to our P & F for organising a great Footy FUN LUNCH Hot Dog or Veggie Sausage with a drink. It is amazing how generous our parent community is with supporting school events and the time they give to ensure the students enjoy their day. GOOD LUCK to the Footy AFL Preliminary Finalists and it has been a great year of footy.
MACSSIS 2026 Survey
Today is the last day for any parent who has not completed the MACSSIS survey.
You still have the opportunity to complete this by the end of today and send us your completed screenshot to be counted in the student and parent prize draws.
Thank you to all the parents who have completed the MACSSIS 2026 survey. We have had a great response from parents, and all Year 4, 5 and 6 students have completed the survey. This will be a great support in the ongoing reflection and planning process for the 2027 School Annual Action Plan.
Prizes will be drawn and awarded in Week 1 of Term 4.
Thank you to all staff, parents and students in Year 4,5,and 6 who completed the survey.
SFS GARDEN
Thank you to Rebecca for our thriving and amazing garden. We have sold a lot of produce at the fortnightly market stall on Thursdays. We have sold eggs and other treats which children have enjoyed making in cooking sessions with Rebecca. Our garden is looking green and healthy with different varieties of produce. Thank you to parents who have bought veggies and eggs from our market stall. Thank you to Rebecca for all the great learning opportunities and sustainability focus you have provided the students at SFS this term.
Gardening session on Tuesday, 22nd September at 10am - all parents welcome. Please refer to App notification that went out today.
THANK YOU to all the staff for all their work, time and support throughout Term 3. It has been a wonderful term of learning, sport, and action teams and we look forward to Term 4.
Preparing for 2027
Please notify us if your child is not returning in 2027. We are commencing the process of making arrangements for 2027, which also includes budgeting and staffing. It is important that if your child is not returning next year that you notify the Principal in writing. We encourage you to do this now or as soon as possible.
