Loving God,
We thank You for the gift of mothers, grandmothers, carers and all the special women who nurture, guide and love us each day.
Bless them with joy, strength, peace and good health. May they always know how deeply they are appreciated for the kindness, care and love they share with others.
Help us to show appreciation not only today, but every day, through our words and actions.
We remember with love those mothers and special women who are no longer with us and hold them gently in our hearts.
May Mary, the mother of Jesus, continue to watch over and guide all families in our Sacred Heart Primary School community.

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who supported our Mother’s Day Stall. It was wonderful to see the excitement, smiles and thoughtful care as students selected gifts for the special women in their lives.
A very special thank you to our amazing Sacred Heart Parents and Friends Team, led by Monica and Tendayi, for their time, organisation and dedication in preparing and running the stall. Your generosity, enthusiasm and commitment helped make the event such a wonderful success for our students and families.
Thank you also to everyone who donated gifts, purchased raffle tickets and contributed to the success of the day. We are truly grateful for the generosity and spirit of our Sacred Heart community.

Family Week 2026
As we celebrate National Family Week, we give thanks for the many different families who make up our wonderful Sacred Heart community. Families are at the heart of all we do, and we value the love, care, encouragement and support shared between home and school each day.
We look forward to welcoming families to our special Family Week events on Monday 11th May (2.20pm – 3.20pm) and Friday 15th May (2.40pm) for our gathering and prayers. We hope these opportunities provide time to connect, celebrate and enjoy being together as a community.
Excursions and Camps
Next week will be an exciting week of learning beyond the classroom for many of our students.
Our Foundation to Year 2 students will attend an excursion to CERES Community Environment Park on Tuesday 12th May. This will be a wonderful opportunity for students to engage in hands-on learning and explore sustainability and the natural environment.
Our Year 5 and 6 students will also head off to their camp at Phillip Island from Wednesday 13th May to Friday 15th May. We wish all students and staff a fantastic camp experience filled with fun, learning, challenge and wonderful memories together.
I will also be attending the camp, and Marty and the Leadership Team will be overseeing the school and ensuring everything runs smoothly in my absence.
Thank you to our staff and families for all the preparation and support that helps make these opportunities possible for our students.
