What a fantastic day we had at our 2026 House Cross Country! Our school community came together to celebrate perseverance, encouragement and house spirit, creating an energetic and supportive atmosphere from start to finish. With students proudly dressed in their house colours and plenty of cheering around the course, the day was full of excitement and positivity.
Students from Prep to Grade 6 tackled the course with determination and resilience. It was wonderful to see every student challenge themselves and strive for their personal best, whether they were competing for a place at District Cross Country or simply aiming to finish the course. The encouragement shown between students across all year levels was a real highlight of the day. Congratulations to all students for the way they participated and represented their Houses with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Thank you to our staff and parent helpers who assisted with marshalling, course set up and pack up, recording results, and supporting students throughout the day. Your help and enthusiasm are always greatly appreciated and play a huge role in making events like this possible.
A special shout out to our Grade 6 House Captains and Sport Leaders for the amazing effort they put into supporting the junior grades throughout the event. From running alongside younger students to encouraging nervous runners and helping everyone stay motivated, your leadership and care helped make the day such a success.
After a closely contested day of racing, congratulations to Cuthbert (Yellow) House for taking out the 2026 House Cross Country Shield!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to such a successful and enjoyable day. We are already looking forward to next year’s House Cross Country!

Congratulations to all our Grade 3-6 students who qualified for the District Cross Country that will be held next Tuesday 19th May at Quambee Reserve. We know you will represent Holy Spirit with pride!
